AUDREY JENKINSONMonday 14 July 2003
Audrey Jenkinson put her career as an actress on hold in the early 90s to care for her parents in their final illnesses.

When her mother suffered her first stroke, Audrey had found a helpful volume on how to cope. She later found books on dealing with bereavement, but nothing on helping people if there had been a long illness.
Concerned that there was no book which suggested how carers could get their lives back on track when the caring was over, she decided to put something together herself.
Audrey talks to Jenni about her book Past Caring.
Past Caring is available from Promenade Publishing, Box 380, 28 Elm Row, Leith, Edinburgh EH7 4RR (£6.99 plus £2 p&p )
