E-mail vs LetterThursday 22 May 2003
postman
Author Julia Darling spent time as writer in residence with the post office - and used her time as inspiration for this week's Woman's Hour drama.

The plays explore feelings about the way communication is changing and the gradual disappearance of the longhand letter.
Julia Darling joins Jenni to defend the power of the hand delivered letter whilst communications expert Val Tyler speaks up for the swiftness of a badly punctuated misspelt email.
