In the current Health and Social Care Bill on creating Foundation Hospitals there is no commitment to include maternity services. The Royal College of Midwives, at their annual conference, will table an emergency motion to bring attention to this oversight.

Louise Silverton, Deputy General Secretary of the RCM and Health Minister Jacqui Smyth join Jenni to discuss what this means for the future provision of maternity care.
