Infant AutopsiesTuesday 25 March 2003
One of the most problematic effects of the Alder Hey body parts scandal has been a worrying decline in the numbers of tissue and organ donations.

A group of parents and pathologists are so concerned about this drop in donations that they have produced a video to help bereaved parents understand the issues surrounding post mortem examinations. We'll be asking why they decided to make the film.
Clare Richards, the filmmaker and herself a cot death parent, and Dr Waney Squier, Neuro- pathologist discuss why they decided to make the video, and how they hope it will give parents the option of seeing something positive come of their child's death.
