LavenderFriday 18 October 2002
Lavender After a hard day there's nothing more relaxing than soaking in a bath with a few drops of lavender oil.

Lavender's long been recognised for its soothing properties, but it's less well known as an accompaniment to roast beef and even as a remedy to ailments.
Miranda Seymour, author of A Brief History of Thyme and Other Herbs, has been showing Claudia Hammond just how versatile lavender can be.
A Brief History of Thyme and Other Herbs by Miranda Seymour, published by John Murray ISBN 0719563275
