Emma RichardsFriday 4 October 2002
Emma Richards spent thirteen days braving giant Atlantic waves and violent storms. Yet, in spite of a broken sail, yachtswoman Emma entered the record books this week by becoming the first woman to complete the first leg of the challenging Around Alone race. But it's not over yet.

Emma Richards joins Martha to tell her about the next four legs she has to sail in her bid to circumnavigate the world.
