Middle Eastern flavours are adored by the cookery writer Diana Henry who was originally inspired by a One Thousand and One Arabian Nights.

Today in our new series of recipes from her book Crazy Water, Pickled Lemons she introduced Anna McNamee to a dessert featuring rose water and a sweet fit for Queen Scheherazade herself.
