On last Friday's programme we discussed whether parents should be able to use technology to conceive a child specifically to save the life of another. The so called "designer baby".

It followed the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority's decision not to allow Jayson and Michelle Whitaker to use embryo selection to produce a child who could provide a cure for their sick son Charlie.
