A Memoir of KashmirTuesday 6 August 2002
The writer Sudha Koul grew up in Kashmir. The tranquil country of her childhood could not be more different from the troubled province conjured up in the headlines today.

As she relates in her memoir, The Tiger Ladies, neighbour began to turn against neighbour as outside tensions were played out in her homeland.
Sudha Koul joins Sheila to talk about her book and life in Kashmir.
Sudha Koul, The Tiger Ladies: A Memoir of Kashmir, published by Review; ISBN: 0755311167
