Alice CooteMonday 15 July 2002
Mezzo-soprano Alice Coote's voice has been described as having a Ferrier-like quality, rich in tone with a humanity and personal appeal that strike straight to the heart.

She will sing Mozart's Requiem at the Barbican in London in August. She will also be performing Mahler at the Usher Hall during the Edinburgh Festival later that month.
She joins Jenni to talk about her career and forthcoming performances.
Alice Coote is appearing at the Barbican (Box Office: 020 7638 8891) on 2nd and 3rd August and at the Edinburgh Festival on 14th August (Festival Tickets: 0131 473 2000)
