Over thirty per cent of women between the ages of 22 and 34 now live alone and not all us have a man in the house who can grout and lay floors. So one DIY store has come up with its own solution - women only DIY clubs.

At B+Q warehouses around the country women are taking up their tools and learning how to fulfil their makeover dreams.
Philippa Budgen goes to a class in Romford in Essex where tutors Geoff Southgate and Bob Maker were giving a lesson on decking.
