Dr Sima Samar was Afghanistan's most senior female politician. Her outspoken views on the ways women are treated in the country angered many religious hardliners.

But after being accused of blasphemy earlier this month she left her position in the cabinet and now fears for her safety.
Martha talks to the BBC's Afghanistan correspondent, Kate Clark, about Dr Samar.
