Post Natal DepressionMonday 17 June 2002
According to the Maternity Alliance, 80,000 women experience Post Natal Depression each year. They also believe that many employers are less than sympathetic to women's needs.

To counter this problem, the Maternity Alliance has published a series of leaflets, 'Work Rights and Welfare Benefits for Women with Postnatal Depression' aimed at new mothers, healthcare professionals, employers and advisers.
Jenni is joined by Elaine Seth Smith from the Maternity Alliance and Jenny Bristow from Spiked Online.
