It is supposed to be good for you, isn't it?

Apparently a lot of us are doing it wrong. If you swim with your head out of the water and suffer from stiffness and strain you might benefit from a different approach.
The Shaw Method aims to increase the benefits of being in the water through greater body awareness. It uses the principles of the Alexander Technique.
Woman's Hour Reporter, Claudia Hammond, gets out her swimming costume to try out this alternative method of teaching swimming for herself.
