Deborah HarryFriday 17 May 2002
Deborah Harry Blondie's lead singer Deborah (Debbie)Harry was one of the most captivating figures of the 1970's new-wave revolution.

Born in Miami in 1945 she and Chris Stein formed Blondie in the early 1970's. Heart of Glass was their first world-wide hit. Blondie dissolved in 1982 and she pursued a solo career.
She's performing in the UK on May 18th at G.A.Y, at the London Astoria and on May 19th with the Jazz Passengers at London's Barbican Centre.
