Jenni SeagroveTuesday 16 April 2002
Jenni Seagrove first made her name in the early 80s as the offbeat Scottish lover to an American oil baron in the film Local Hero.

It was almost 15 years before she returned to our screens regularly as the single mum, juggling her legal career and home-life in the recent BBC drama, Judge John Deed.
In the intervening years, it has been her love of theatre that has kept her most busy, and she has just taken on the West End role of the unflappable wife of an adulterous husband in Somerset Maugham's comedy, The Constant Wife. She talks to Jenni about the appeal of the theatre.
The Constant Wife is on at the Apollo Theatre, London from 11 April 2002 to 29 June 2002
