The Woman's Hour serial for this week is Just Plain Gardening. It's billed as a horticultural comedy where Joyce Grenfell meets Vita Sackville West.
It's set at the St Plover's School of Lady Gardeners Class of 53 and stars Julie Hesmondhalgh, Patrick Barlow and Celia Imrie. The writer, Jyll Bradley, tells Jenni why a horticomedy appealed to her so much.
