Inga NielsenMonday 4 March 2002
Inga Nielson
At the tender age of nine soprano Inga Nielsen began her recording career with a record of Danish Christmas carols. Since then she's sung in the great opera houses of Europe, made a critically acclaimed recording of Strauss's Salome, and is currently performing at the Royal Opera House as the deranged Woman in Schoenberg's nightmarish opera Erwartung.

Inga Nielsen joins Jenni to talk about her life and her career as an opera singer.
Shoenboerg's Erwartung is at the Royal Opera House until 9 March. For further details contact the Royal Opera House box office on 0207 304 4000 or visit their website.
