Dar Williams has been likened to Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell.

The Green World is her fourth solo album - the title of which is based on a concept she learnt in a Shakespeare class.
The playwright often centred his plays on the conflict between the 'closed world' and the 'green world'. The closed world represented orderly court life in Elizabethan England. The green world was unpredictable and chaotic.
Dar joins Jenni to explain more about the inspiration behind the album, and performs songs from The Green World live in the studio.
