Pope John Paul II feels that saints should be role models for Catholics. He has canonised more people than any other Pope and has also been instrumental in simplifying the process.
Yesterday (25th November) he canonised 3 women, all of them nuns. Jenni talks to Josephine Robertson, Chairman of the Association of Catholic Women and Dr Lavinia Byrne, about how relevant the canonising of these nuns is for modern Catholic women, and how it reflects the attitude of the church towards women.
