Baroness Emma NicholsonFriday 30 November 2001
Baroness Emma Nicholson recently went to refugee camps in Southern Afghanistan and witnessed the terrible plight of those displaced by the current conflict in the area.

She claims that many of the refugees she has met have no idea who Osama Bin Laden is and have little or no understanding of why the allied troops have undertaken a bombing campaign.
She joins Martha to describe her visit and we hear some of her recordings of the women in the camps.
