Sarah Maguire is a gardener. She was trained at Ealing Council as an apprentice and passed her exams in horticulture.

She did a variety of jobs - only going to University when she was 27 and realising in her twenties that she was, in fact, a poet.
Her first volume Spilt Milk was published in 1991.
She has a new collection of her own out this week - The Florists at Midnight - and an anthology of poems by other people who were inspired by plants and flowers.
Flora Poetica is The Chatto Book of Botanical Verse. She joins Jenni in the studio.
