Cathy TysonMonday 5 November 2001
Cathy Tyson
The actress Cathy Tyson, who's best known for her role as a prostitute in the film Mona Lisa, and also in the TV drama series Band of Gold, takes on a very different character this week.

She plays a vicar in Night and Day, which is being hailed as a revolutionary new soap.
Many years ago she said that black actresses are either cast as prostitutes or African princesses.
She joins Jenni to talk about her new soap role and about the casting of black actors today.
Night and Day begins on ITV on Tuesday 6 November at 5.05pm.
