Christina Kopernik-Steckel has been awarded a record settlement in excess of £500,000 for the psychological injury she suffered when her brother stabbed their mother before killing himself.

An NHS trust made the out of court settlement after admitting liability over the care of her brother who was mentally disturbed.
Christina talks to Martha about the impact on her life.
