Melanie Marshall is recognised as one of the most gifted and versatile of the younger generation of British singers.

Born in the north of England, she is one of three musical siblings, otherwise known as the 'Von-Trapps of Oldham'.
She started singing in public at the age of six and talks to Martha about performing spirituals that have been arranged especially for her.
CD: Feel the Spirit, Songs and Spirituals, The Cambridge Singers conducted by John Rutter (Collegium Records COLCD 128).
