Borlotti beansWednesday 22 August 2001
Why settle for your standard white bean dressed in tomato sauce, when, at this time of year, you could be enjoying a much more exotic species?

Anna McNamee went to meet cookery writer Sybil Kapoor at Turnips, a fresh produce supplier run by Fred Foster in London's Borough Market, to track down one of the most delicious and beautiful bean varieties - the borlotti bean and found out how to make a dish of Borlotti Beans with Parsley and Tomato.
Read the recipe.
Turnips is at 43 Borough Market, London, SE1 9AH.
More recipes from Sybil Kapoor can be found in her book Simply British (Penguin Books, ISBN: 0140273190, £7.99).
