Eleanor of AquitaineTuesday 21 August 2001
Actress Eileen Page is about to perform a one-woman play about Eleanor of Aquitaine at Stratford.

Eileen's long career on stage has seen her acting alongside Anthony Hopkins, Judi Dench and Lawrence Olivier.
She's now in her eighties, and having no desire to retire, decided to take the role because of the parallels she sees between Eleanor of Aquitaine's life and her own.
She tells Jenni what she thinks she has in common with the only woman to ever be Queen of both France and England.
Eileen Page will be performing the one-woman play, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Mother of the Pride at The Other Place, Stratford on September 2nd 2001. Box Office 01789 403403/413.
