Betty Pepper trained as a jeweller but takes her inspiration from textiles, embroidery and stories. Her projects include hollowed out books strung with necklaces, miniature portraits and embroidery. Now she has a new exhibit in the Brilliantly Birmingham Exhibition, inspired by the stories she has heard on Woman’s Hour. Betty tells Jenni how those stories have influence her designs.
