Moyra Johnson - 93 year old glider pilot3 July 2008
The woman who who has been flying her own aircraft for nearly 80 years.

In the 1930s the world was captivated by Yorkshire pilot Amy Johnson and her record breaking flights. But although it is her name that lives on, there was another Yorkshire woman also making her mark in aviation at the time. Moyra Johnson [no relation] was still in her teens when she became one of the founder flying members of the Yorkshire Gliding club and now, at the age of 93, she has the honour of being the Club's President. Jill Hopkins went to meet her.
