The modernisation of the traditional Indian dress.

India Fashion Week 2007 was resplendent in saris – but not the traditional styles the Western world might imagine. These were all shades, shapes and styles – sometimes demure, sometimes dazzling. Shilpa Shetty is often seen sporting designer versions and Liz Hurley wore a pink sari at her wedding. So how is the modernisation going down in India? Rupa Jha spoke to those who love and hate the change.
