If you're a frequent flier through time zones you'll know all about melatonin. It's the hormone which keeps our bodyclocks at the right time, telling us when it's night and when it's day. Some people believe it's a hormone with special properties and that it could even make us live longer. As part of a series to mark the centenary of the discovery of hormones, Vivienne Parry, author of The Truth About Hormones, joined Claudia Hammond in a park to sort out the myth from the reality.
