On Friday the Poet Laureate, Carol Ann Duffy came on to the programme to describe how life has changed since her appointment in May. She also read the first of a series of poems that she’s selected as part of a special anthology for Christmas. This is now the fifth of the poems she's reading in the run up to Christmas. It's called ‘Carol of the Brown King’ by Langston Hughes. 'The Twelve Poems of Christmas’ is published by the Candlestick Press.
