The Museum has a policy of continuing to acquire contemporary works, and this piece came to them when they held an exhibition of art from the Middle East. It’s not on display at the moment, so Louise Adamson joined Dr Venetia Porter who’s Curator of Islamic and Contemporary Middle East Collections behind the scenes at the museum.
