We take a detailed look at the five women nominated for this year’s Mercury Music Prize. It's the largest number of women ever in contention and comprises of Florence and the Machine, Bat for Lashes, Speech Debelle, Lisa Hannigan and La Roux. Only two women have won the award in its seventeen year history; Ms Dynamite and PJ Harvey. Lucy O'Brien, music journalist and author of She Bop, joins Sheila to assess their chances of success.
