Rana Husseini18 June 2009
On the so-called "Honour Killings" that claim an estimated 5,000 women's lives globally every year.

Rana Husseini is an internationally recognized journalist, human rights activist and author. The UN estimates that 5,000 women a year are killed worldwide because of so-called ‘crimes of honour’. Since 1994 Rana has worked tirelessly to highlight these killings not only in Jordan, her home country, but in many other countries, including the UK. She joins Jenni to talk about her work and her new book, 'Murder in the Name of Honour'.

'Murder in the Name of Honour', by Rana Husseini is published by Oneworld Publications in paperback original. ISBN-978–1–85168–524–0
