Sarah Outen
The 23 year old rowing the Indian Ocean

Joining Jenni today is 23 year old Sarah Outen live from her small boat in the middle of the Indian Ocean. Sarah is hoping to become the first woman - and the youngest and fastest person - to sail solo from Western Australia to Mauritius. Half way through her trip and after 50 days at sea she’ll be describing what it’s like to row for up to 12 hours a day riding 30ft waves, battling winds and currents, sharks, and shipping traffic with the constant fear of capsize.
