Victoria's beautiful & elegant outfits on display at Kensington Palace
We're used to thinking of Queen Victoria in an extended state of mourning - she wore black for forty years after her husband Prince Albert died. But in her youth she possessed some remarkable and elegant outfits, now stored at Kensington Palace. They inspired some of the costumes that were designed for the film 'Young Victoria' which has just gone on general release. Judy Merry went to meet chief curator Lucy Worsley, to get a behind the scenes peak at the royal wardrobe.
