The increase in popularity of the ceilidh

Ceilidhs are currently extraordinarily popular social events, attracting huge numbers of participants of all ages. But what attracts couples, and singles, to spend the evening tripping measures you might recognize from all those lush Jane Austen and Thomas Hardy costume dramas, in village halls around the country.
Judi Herman went along to join the dancers at Haddenham Village Hall in Buckinghamshire, accompanied by the psychologist, Nadine Field.
