What makes a classic hairstyle?

In a recent poll by Hair Magazine the Bob, made popular in the sixties by Mary Quant & Twiggy and more recently by Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes, was named the "most iconic haircut” of all time. But what is it that makes a hairstyle iconic? Which cuts stand the test of time and which should be consigned to the hairdresser's dustbin for good? Karen Dodds, Creative Director of Cutting Room Creative Salon in Leeds & Louise White editor of Hair Magazine join Sheila to discuss what makes a classic haircut.
