Next month marks the sixtieth wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. To mark the occasion, an exhibition of the weddings of the last five rulers of the United Kingdom is currently showing at Windsor Castle. The exhibition contains personal photographs, letters and wedding gifts of every monarch from Queen Victoria to Queen Elizabeth. Jennifer Chevalier went to meet Lady Jane Roberts, the Royal Librarian at Windsor, to explore a-century-and-a-half of royal weddings, starting with Victoria and Albert in 1840.
