Polar explorer on her recent attempt to reach the North Pole

Explorer Rosie Stancer has been forced to abandon her solo trek to the North Pole due to deteriorating weather conditions. After 84 days and 326 miles on the ice, she made the decision to quit after her air crew voiced concerns about future pick-ups closer to the centre. Rosie was hoping to become the first ever woman to conquer both poles after tackling the South Pole in 2004. She joins Ritula to discuss her gruelling expedition, which included fighting frostbite and enduring some of the worst weather witnessed in the area in recent history.
