You might remember the Worthing Dome cinema from when it featured – in its derelict state - in the film “Wish You Were Here” starring Emily Lloyd. Well it’s derelict no more.
Belle Stennett has spent the last seven years in charge of the local campaign to save the Dome - one of Britain’s oldest working cinemas – from the threat of demolition and has now just about restored it to its former glory.
In the first of a new series meeting some of the women fighting to save our historic buildings, Anna MacNamee met Belle for a tour.
