Grace Robertson27 July 2006
Pub Outing
When Grace Robertson sent her photographs to Picture Post in 1948 they were rejected with the advice "persevere young man". A ware that almost all photojournalists at the time were men she had sent in her work under the pseudonym Dick Muir. Persevere she did and her pictures are now considered classics of photojournalism. Robertson is the only British photographer to feature in an exhibition at America 's national photography gallery celebrating the first women in photojournalism, and the only one still alive and working.

Grace joins Jenni to talk about her life in pictures.
