The long awaited inquiry begins on 24 November and one of its priorities is to hear from families of British service personnel killed in the conflict. Rose Gentle’s son Gordon aged 19, a Royal Highland Fusilier, was killed when the land rover in which he was travelling was hit by a roadside bomb. Jane Garvey speaks to Rose about her campaign for information about Gordon’s death and for the public inquiry.
