Tamsin Omond is a 24 year old eco-activist who’s campaigned for the government to take action to avoid man-made climate change. A member of the groups Plane Stupid and Climate Rush, her style of activism - direct action - is inspired by the Suffragettes. She’s organised a number of high profile protests including scaling the roof of the House of Commons, and a thousand-strong 'rush' on Parliament. Jenni talks to Tamsin about her justification for breaking the law, and discusses with Jenny Willott, the Liberal Democrat MP for Cardiff Central, whether campaigning through protest or through Parliament is more likely to make a difference to climate change.
