Laura Marling started out as a backing singer for the indie folk group Noah and the Whale, and is now considered by many to be one of Britain's most promising singer songwriters. Her bold, dark folk songs have been compared to Joan Baez and Joni Mitchell. And she is still the youngest person ever to have been nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, for her 2008 debut album 'Alas I Cannot Swim'. Now just 19, she was once refused entry to one of her own gigs for being underage, and ended up busking in the street. Laura talks to Jenni about singing with friends, and why she hates having her photo taken. And she performs a song from her much-anticipated new album live in the studio.
