Why does Hartlepool have such low life expectancy for women?
NHS District Profiles released at the beginning of July show that Hartlepool has the lowest life expectancy for women in the UK - almost 10 years shorter than for women in the affluent London Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. Unemployment and poor lifestyle choices seem to be the problem so why are the messages on healthy lifestyles not getting through.
