The acclaimed soprano on 20th century arias

Kate Royal has won many awards for her music, including the prestigious Kathleen Ferrier award in 2004. The soprano has been in constant demand ever since. At just 30 years old she has had lead roles at the English National Opera and Glyndebourne as well as starring in opera houses around the world. She has just released her second solo album, a collection of 20th century operatic arias. 

Kate Royal performs at the Wigmore Hall, London, on 7 May. Midsummer Night is released on 4 May by EMI.
