Can a rigid routine be harmful?

The zoologist Desmond Morris has recently expressed his anger at what he sees as damaging strict baby regimes. But are strict routines harmful to a baby’s development or just encouraging them to eat and sleep well? Jane is joined by Barbara Want the author of “Baby Secrets: How to Know your Baby’s Needs” and Claire Scott, an advocate of the Continuum Concept and a mentor on the Channel 4 series “Bringing Up Baby”.
