Martin and Jenny Stephen on their home-made rehabilitation programme

When Martin Stephen, High Master of St Paul’s School, found himself in a hospital bed, unable to move his limbs or speak after suffering a stroke, he was faced with a battle to regain control of his body. Martin and Jenny Stephen tell Jenni how Martin’s dogged determination, and the support of his family, helped him to make a remarkable recovery. They are joined by Ann Ashburn, Professor of Rehabilitation at Southampton University.

Diary Of A Stroke by Martin Stephen is published by Psychology News Press, ISBN: 9780907633105
